Wow thank you its an amazing  feeling of little flutters of excitement seeing over 75 likes on our “the tanya way photography studio facebook page this is what I wrote last night.

the tanya way is underway with keeping it fresh and real. Needless to say I have neglected my website and my facebook page. If I make an update effort will it bring you back to looking at the latest posts? Over the last week I have had a few of my closest friends say “hey we want you back we miss your inspiration and gorgeous imagery what is going on! Life is what goes on it isn’t always easy being a single mum, running a studio and setting up a very new studio location. Im not asking for sympathy but it has had its moments of where does time go. I am feeling so very focussed, I love what I can create and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my regular loyal clients that I can honestly call my friends. Thank you for being patient with me. I am back with lots and lots planned. So I need at least ten likes that we want more posts just so I know you are there and it just isn’t me and my notebook sitting here at 11.45pm goodness I need to get up at what time, ok time for sleep talk tomorrow maybe ten likes hmmmmmm

New day filled with new inspiration and imagery.
the last twelve months I have grown well up even though the chart says nope still little, so I have grown up inside I have been on this self discovery and it has had its ups and downs but overall I am grateful for all the new learning experiences I have been given along the way.
My business has taken a new journey along with myself and has evolved into the “the tanya way photography studio” as it is today.
When I first moved to Mount Gambier I was known as MT Gambier’s children photographer to have your children photographed by.  Over this time I have and still photograph many babies children families and weddings became part of our studio as well.  some commercial thrown in amongst the mix purely because one of my absolute personal loves is food photography not so much to shoot food but I love cook books and own many purely to look at the photography.  Funny my parents say to me “you have all these cook books so get in the kitchen.”  I actually prefer to grab one of mums takeaways and usually have her cooking most nights.  (yes I am very lucky to have my meals still cooked for me but I think it is because I missed many meals from going to boarding school so I am making up for it).  I can actually hear what my dad would be saying, ok I’m laughing this is my excuse nothing beats your mums cooking and I bet most of you will agree.!
So here we are today I’m sharing beautiful Mitchell.  Mitchell’s parents Tory Nd Brendan have been photographed by me over the years and have given me the absolute creative joy of photographing their wedding, beautiful Lucy and now Mitchell.  For me this has been a journey of sharing and creating moments of their journey through imagery.  Imagery that will be shared with their children and their children’s children.  I am thankful to be given This creation opportunity over and over again.
This leads me to say my evolving journey is bringing me back to being even more than I am already to be known as MT Gambiers baby, children and family photographer as I was renowned for.
I adore weddings but will only be commissioned to participate in a select amount for the couples that value the art of how I capture wedding photography as like the excisting wedding clients I already have to date.

So far out I have neglected our site and now I can’t stop.

My beautiful friends Abby and Matt and their three glorious children Wil, Riley and Bodhi one perfect little family. I love you guys it is always a complete pleasure not only to photograph you but to also catch up and spend time with you. You know Abby we owe all of this to your good friend Abby P all those years ago when she visited the studio to purchase a gift certificate for you to have family photos and look where it has taken us. Thank you Abby P I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet you, you brought wonderful friends into not only my life but Simon’s as well. Congratulations Jess and Sam little Sailor is a little treat so so gorgeous. Thank you for allowing me to photograph her in the newest part of her life it is these early days that I love to capture a little baby, as we all know just how quickly they grow. Our latest news… lots and lots happening in the world of fine art photography. I was moving to a bigger premises to shoot from and my Gray street studio was always going to be kept and used as a gallery to show case my ongoing fine art photography. However I made the decision as hard as it was was not to move to Wallace Street. So there it is you will still find me at Gray with my very newest business partner my sister Corinne, who will take over the business side so I can concentrate on the things that I love the most photography, design and most importantly my wonderful clients. I have new products in the studio which will suit all different client needs with some new pricing to suit all expectations and budgets. I have three places left for weddings this year and will be releasing tomorrow the winner of our new website competition. I have several shoots to show you and I am so thrilled in all the creations that we have been creating. Thank you to the beautiful families that I spent time with last week in Adelaide I will have some images to show you very soon. Congratulations to Abby and Matt on the arrival of their little baby boy and Jess and Sam on the arrival of their little girl. I am looking forward to showing you images of these two little bunnies soon. Last but not least a very sad farewell to Nicole I will really miss you. You brought a whole new light into the studio with a glow of happiness I wish you enormous success at Uni you are one clever little chicky, I am very proud of you thank you for helping me when I really needed I love you lots. Hello is there anybody out there…….  I know it has been so so long since I have posted but here I am back.  I will be keeping you posted more often with lots and lots of shoots that I have been creating over the last few months.  So many beautiful wonderful fun filled shoots to share along with our brand new website which shouldn’t be to far away plus you can also visit our facebook page tanya o’leary photography.  I wish everyone a super fantastic week and I will be back soon.  xx Tanya
