Hello to all you beautiful readers of my journal otherwise known as blog. I have had an extremely busy couple of weeks hence the lack of updates on this site my apologies for those of you who stop by often. I still have many shoots to show you over the next week along with going to Adelaide for my son Oscar and a couple of shoots while in Adelaide which will be a regular thing. On a slightly different note I have recently been in Melbourne for Breaking Out Stepping up and I am very excited to be part of the class of 2010 year book for the South East region as well as Western Victoria for this next year. While I was away I won an award which made me feel very humble the award was for most outstanding photography in the class of 2009 year book for Breaking Out which is an Australian wide publication. I give many thanks to all the wonderful people that supported me with launching Breaking Out last year in our region. Firstly to my loving husband Simon and three beautiful children for putting up with me not being around much in November, my extremely supportive parents I couldn’t have done this without you, Tamara and Kristy from the studio you both do a wonderful wonderful job, Gretel Sneath for her many words of creativity, all the wonderful year twelve students that allowed me to photograph them, a huge thank you to all the parents for appreciating all the hard work we put in as well as giving their children that bit more confidence with feeling good about themselves before the next stage in their life begins. Last but not least Tero and Julie Sade for making Breaking Out possible.
Let this next year begin come and join us and make it even better by being in the class of 2010 year book and raising funds for disadvantaged youth (you can view the official Breaking Out site www.breakingout.com.au). Our shoots have commenced please join our fan page on facebook search under SA South East Breaking Out Class of 2009 & 2010 or join myself as a friend. We will be posting our year twelve students photography shoots there and not on our journal page with the exception of Loche who has joined this years book today. Great to see you Beth and your beautiful little man enjoy with many more to show you very soon. I hope you survived the weather at your friends wedding on the weekend my thoughts were with you all. Firstly a very big congratulations to Andy and Mark for sharing their special day with myself and my very pregnant assistant Tamara we certainly had a fantastic time with you guys.
The week ahead I will post more images from Andy and Mark’s wedding once I return from Melbourne and I will also update more images from some recent shoots that have not yet been seen. Stay in the loop and check back soon. This month we are now in the mix and will be commencing Breaking Out Shoots so please call into the studio if you are in year twelve to find out more.
